After 18 wonderful years in Round Rock, our Round Rock office has moved to Cedar Park. We’re incredibly grateful for the support, relationships, and sense of community we experienced there—it truly meant a lot to us. We look forward to continuing to serve you from our new location with the same dedication and care, and our Austin location remains open and ready to assist you as well.

Many of the people I work with struggle with anxiety, feel guilty for having needs, or notice patterns in their relationships they don’t fully understand.
In our work together, we slow things down and make sense of what’s underneath those patterns.
Using a Bowen Family Systems approach, I help you understand how your current experiences, whether anxiety, relationship stress, or emotional overwhelm, are often shaped by long-standing patterns within your family and other important relationships. As these patterns become clearer, you can begin to respond with more intention, confidence, and freedom.
I work with individuals navigating:
Anxiety connected to relationships or expectations
Difficulty setting or maintaining healthy boundaries
People-pleasing or feeling responsible for others
Grief and loss, including changes in relationships or identity
Spiritual hurt or confusion within faith communities
For many clients, faith remains an important part of their lives, even when they’ve had difficult or painful experiences in church or religious settings. I approach this work with respect for your beliefs, creating space to process what you’ve experienced without pressure to move in any particular direction.
In addition to my clinical training, I bring personal insight into this work. Having spent many years in a ministry context, I understand both the meaningful and complex aspects of faith communities. My work also reflects a thoughtful approach to understanding family-of-origin patterns and how they shape a person’s sense of self and relationships over time.
Before becoming a counselor, I built and ran my own business, which gives me a practical understanding of stress, responsibility, and the demands many people carry in their daily lives.
If you’re looking for a deeper understanding of yourself (not just quick solutions) and are open to exploring the patterns shaping your relationships, I would be honored to work with you.
I offer a brief phone consultation to help you determine if this feels like a good fit.
