I’m interested in engaging people's stories and holding space for them to make meaning from the parts of their stories that are sticky, uncomfortable, painful, and even unclear. My passion for counseling started in ministry, and I consider it a great privilege to walk alongside people as they grow, change, grieve, and get more settled in their own story. Populations that I work with include those experiencing transition, grief and loss, anxiety and depression, body shame and body dysmorphia, spiritual turmoil, loneliness, and wrestling with relational conflict. I will be using Bowen Family Systems theory to provide structure and wisdom for the work that I do with clients. Though we live in an individualistic culture, we are relational beings. I am passionate about using Family Systems theory because it helps make sense of how an individual's needs, desires, and traits interact with the most formative people in their life. If you're interested in working with me please contact me with the information provided above.
