“Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars.” -- Khalil Gibran
I believe that we are made for relationship in deep and meaningful ways throughout our lives. While ideally this would happen free of pain and sadness, most of us aren’t that lucky. From one single event to a lifetime of pain and suffering, as an EMDR therapist, I work with individuals to help them shed the scars of their pain and embrace the warmth and beauty of who they were created to be. With compassion and an unconditional posture, I seek each person's flourishing in every moment I get to spend with them.
I offer EMDR intensives for my current clients when they are needing extra support, as well as new clients who prefer to work intensively. Additionally, I work adjunctly as an EMDR therapist, meaning I partner with your primary therapists to target specific memories, body sensations, or limiting beliefs with EMDR.
I was a teacher for many years; since becoming a therapist, I have dedicated myself to knowing how to support people as they heal from trauma. I also support other therapists as an EMDRIA Approved Consultant to go out into the world and bring healing and rest.
